What changed in the fourth generation
Low Force Display and a new Light Processing Unit
Form 4 uses LFD technology with an LED + LCD matrix that exposes the whole layer uniformly. The redesigned LPU removes the optical faults and peeling issues that could occur on Form 3+.
2–4× faster than Form 3+
A part that takes 6–8 hours on Form 3+ is ready in 1.5–2 hours on Form 4. Small series and product design: up to 50–100 parts per shift.
Larger build volume: 200 × 125 × 210 mm
About 38 % more volume than Form 3+ — more parts per platform, or larger single parts, at a 50 µm pixel with layer thickness from 50 to 200 µm.
40+ certified photopolymer resins
From engineering materials such as Tough 2000 and Rigid 4000 to medical resins such as BioMed Clear, including class IIa biocompatible resins; Castable Wax 40 covers investment-casting patterns for jewellery.
Post-processing: Form Wash + Form Cure
For a complete print cycle we recommend Form Wash (automated part washing in isopropyl alcohol) and Form Cure (UV post-curing). Together they give printed parts maximum mechanical strength and chemical stability. 3DPRINT.UA supplies both units with the printer, configured for your resin.
Form 4B — the medical version
Form 4B is the medical version of Form 4 with FDA and CE certification for printing medical devices. It uses the same LFD technology, adds extra filters that preserve biocompatibility, and has validated compatibility with dental and biocompatible resins. Intended for dental laboratories and clinics: models, aligners, temporary crowns, surgical guides.

Where can I buy the Formlabs Form 4?
3DPRINT.UA has been an official Formlabs reseller in Ukraine since 2015. Form 4 is supplied with Form Wash + Form Cure post-processing, operator training and the official Formlabs warranty. Kyiv, delivery across Ukraine.
Form 4 or Form 3+ for series production?
For series production, Form 4: it is 2–4× faster, has a larger build volume (200 × 125 × 210 mm versus 145 × 145 × 185 mm on Form 3+) and a new LPU without optical faults. Form 3+ still makes sense if you already run a Form 3 ecosystem.
Is operator training included with the Form 4?
Yes — operator training is part of the Form 4 delivery from 3DPRINT.UA, either online or at our office in Kyiv. Ukrainian-language technical support is also provided.
Which resins are available for the Formlabs Form 4B?
The full Formlabs dental portfolio is available through 3DPRINT.UA: Surgical Guide, Permanent Crown, Temporary CB, Denture Base / Denture Teeth, IBT, Dental LT Clear, Soft Tissue Starter and Castable Wax 40 — all with class IIa certificates.
Do you train clinic staff to work with the Form 4B?
Yes. Form 4B delivery includes training for a dental technician or dentist, at our office in Kyiv or online. We provide access to the Formlabs Dental SOPs and help set up the workflow for your CAD software (coDiagnostiX, exocad, Implant Studio).
