The Fuse Sift X1 is the large-format powder-recovery and part-extraction station built for the Formlabs Fuse X1 industrial SLS 3D printer. It keeps the entire post-processing workflow — depowdering, sieving, storage and refilling — sealed inside a single enclosure, so loose nylon powder never reaches the room.
What the Fuse Sift X1 does
- Part extraction — remove finished parts from the build cake in a contained, dust-managed environment.
- Powder recovery & sieving — used powder is sieved and blended with fresh powder for the next build; up to ~80% of powder goes back into printing.
- Sealed storage & automatic dosing — integrated hoppers store and meter powder, reducing manual handling and waste.
- Scaled for the Fuse X1 — sized for the 61.5 L build volume of the Fuse X1, unlike the standard Fuse Sift for the Fuse 1 / Fuse 1+ 30W.
Compatibility
The Fuse Sift X1 is the dedicated station for the Fuse X1. For the Fuse 1 and Fuse 1+ 30W, use the standard Fuse Sift.
