Formlabs warranty and service plans

Every Formlabs printer carries a 1-year limited warranty. Service plans extend coverage up to 5 years from the ship date and add services beyond the warranty. Below: what each plan covers and which plan your package already includes.

Basic: a plan can be added for 1, 3 or 5 years. Complete: coverage can be extended up to 5 years in total from the ship date. Form Studio 1: no plan in the package; we arrange the Form Studio 1 Pro Service Plan for 1 or 3 years on request. Fuse 1+ 30W: no package includes a service plan; the 1-year Formlabs factory warranty applies, and the Fuse Series Complete Service Plan is added separately.

What Pro and Dental and Medical include

Repairs and replacement parts at no extra cost, for the printer and system accessories, including Form Wash and Form Cure.
Express Replacement: if an issue cannot be fixed remotely, a replacement unit ships before you return yours.
Accidental damage cover. Exclusions: natural disasters, theft, loss, cosmetic damage, damage to consumables, intentional or reckless damage.
Priority phone and email support from Formlabs.
Training videos and a one-to-one online session with a Formlabs specialist.

Not included

The Form 4 Series Production Service Plan is for sites running 5 or more Form 4 Series printers (Form 4, Form 4B, Form 4L, Form 4BL) at one location. It includes everything in Pro and Dental and Medical, plus preventive maintenance twice a year, onsite repair (Formlabs states 2 business days), an Uptime Spare Parts Kit and additional operator certification.

The Production Service Plan is for fleets of 3 or more Fuse 1 Series printers and is required for Fuse X1. It includes everything in Complete, plus a second preventive maintenance visit a year, wear-part cover, onsite calibration with a report, onsite repair (Formlabs states 2 business days) and an Uptime Spare Parts Kit.

What the Fuse Series Complete Service Plan includes

Accidental damage cover.
One preventive maintenance visit a year; an unused visit does not roll over.
Repairs, parts and onsite repair as under the warranty, including the Fuse Sift, Fuse Blast and build chambers.

Not included

Wear parts and consumables: quartz tubes, filters, gaskets.
Onsite calibration with a report and the Uptime Spare Parts Kit: these are ordered at extra cost.

Plan terms

Coverage starts on the date the printer ships.
You can renew before coverage ends or within 30 days after; later renewals need a paid recertification by Formlabs.
Total coverage is capped at 5 years from shipment.
A plan is tied to one printer and cannot be transferred to another device or owner.
It is paid upfront and is non-refundable.
If a plan is bought after shipment, Formlabs may first inspect the printer at the owner's cost.
For onsite visits to Fuse printers, the engineer's travel and accommodation may be charged separately, depending on the country.

Service in Ukraine

Formlabs has no online store in Ukraine: printers and service plans are sold by authorized Formlabs partners.
We register the service plan with your printer, handle installation and operator training, and provide warranty service.
Remote support comes from Formlabs, in English and several other European languages. Our service team answers in Ukrainian.
Outside Formlabs' shipping zones, authorized partners supply replacement parts and units.
Some services are not available in every country, so we list the exact plan on your invoice.
